Ideal Sleeping Position

👉 As in every day of our lives, good health requires good discipline.
👉 The three commonest positions of sleep are
▪Sleeping on the back
▪Sleeping on your stomach
▪Sleeping on your sides

👉 The worst position is sleeping on the stomach, it disturbs breathing and has a very bad neck position.

👉 The next better position is sleeping on the back ( with a pillow below the knee, to relax the sciatic nerve )

👉 The best position to sleep is on your sides, with a slightly bent knee with a pillow between the knees and arms supported by pillows.



👉 Never sleep keeping your hands under your head…Use a proper pillow

👉 The pressure on the wrist compresses the median nerve and causes tingling and numbness of the hand.
